Granite Countertop Prices and Estimate |
Our granite countertops include two major catagories, pre-fabricated and slabs. Pre-fabricated counteropts come with pre-cut sizes (e.g. 108in x 25.5in, 98in x 36in, 98in x 14in) for countertops, island and bartops. They come with pre-polished surfaces and pre-made edges. They cover the majority granite countertops colors that most people like. They have much better prices too such as: The unit price for GROUP A ranges from $20 to $30 dollars, GROUP B from $31 to $40 dollars, and GROUP C ftom $41 to $55 dollars. For example, the current prices list as: $35 - Verde Ubatuba including material/fabrication, and installation, $38 - Santa Cecilia, $35 - Baltic Brown is $35, $35 - Tan Brown, $23 - Altumn Leaf and, $52 - Black Galaxy. When you have a special taste for a special granite countertops, or your countertops need large size slabs, our large slab selection can meet your needs. After slabs are selected, they need to be cut to sizes, and polished. The edges are made too. The fabication and installation price for slabs is fixed at $28 per square foot. Slab prices can vary from six hundrd dollars to a couple of thousand dollars a piece. In addition to the above countertop per square foot unit price, the following prices are standard for each project: $150 - undermount sink cut or $50 for drop-in sink cut, $50 - cooktop cut, $85 - delivery within metropolitan area, $3 sqft - tearing out the old countertops, $150 - undermount sink (free if above 65 sqft) and, $13 per linear foot - reedging if pre-fabricated coutertops. Faucet hole cuts are included (maximum 3). Example of Estimate: This example is just a rough estimate. The actual quote will be based on our measurement, the type of countertops you have such as island, bartops and others. T he actual quote can vary a couple of hundred dollars from this example. If your countertops have a total size of 65sqft and Verder Ubatuba with undermount sink is your granite choice, your price can be about $35x65(materials/installation)+$150(sink cut)+$50(cooktop cut)+$3x65(tearout)+$85(delivery)+$150(undermount sink)$100(re-edging)=$3005 If your choiceis Dakota Blue, which is about $1100 per piece. It may takes two pieces for this project. Total slab costs are $2200. Your total costs are $2200(slabs)+$28x65(fabrication and installation)+$150(sink cut)+$50(cooktop cut)+$3x65(tearout)+$85(delivery)+$150(undermount sink)=$4650 This is not an actual quote, and is for informational purposes. |
